Calories count! To determine the caloric content of the foods you eat, search online at sites like blah blah blah or look through the numerous calorie counting books of your local libarary or bookstore. In addition, become an expert at reading food labels.
Helpful hint Invest in the proper measuring tools at home so you can accurately control your portion sizes. Food scales, measuring cups, and measuring spoons will prevent you from underestimating the amount you are eating. The more you pay attention, the more successful you will be at controlling your calories and sticking to your diet!
